In recent years, a mysterious superhero known as Captain Softmeal has captured the imagination of many! Legend has it that he was inspired by his mother's struggles with swallowing difficulties (Dysphagia). As a renowned chef, he dedicated himself to intense training for forty-nine days, ultimately creating the first-ever soft meal: Soul-Stirring Char Siu Rice. This dish was gifted to Uncle Chen, who had lost his love for food, marking the beginning of a long and solitary journey toward food revolution!
Though he started this journey alone, Captain Softmeal fought with a heart full of love and peace, gradually rallying like-minded allies around him. Together, they are set to ignite a dietary revolution for the silver-haired community, challenging traditional notions of dysphagic diets and restoring the delightful flavors they deserve!

"Captain Softmeal" is one of the key initiatives of The Project Futurus. Established in 2018, Captain Softmeal is committed to helping elders and patients who suffer from swallowing difficulties to live a better life through quality and nutritious texture modified diet that complies with the IDDSI standards.
Today, Captain Softmeal has delivered over 100,000 softmeals through its catering service providing alternative softmeal diet to hospitals, elderly homes, elderly centers and rehabilitation facilities. We have also organized over 700 Softmeal making workshops and training sessions for caregivers, healthcare professionals, food service suppliers and chefs.
Our community engagement programs "Sensory Restaurant on Wheels" and "Good Times on Wheels" strives to deliver the joy of dining to people with swallowing difficulties. Our new Inclusive Dining restaurant program collaborating with restaurants such as Yung Kee & Tao Heung to create meals that are chewing and swallowing friendly so that family can now all dine-in together at the restaurant!
